Four weeks after my second flare-up in 16 months, my energy has mostly returned. However, I still have a nagging pain in my lower abdomen before bowel movements that lasts until I empty my bowels. My doctor prescribed Bentyl 10mg as needed, which seems to help with some of the discomfort and pain. Is this a common experience? I haven’t had loose stools, blood, or fever.
