Better sleep didn't help my flares ymmv

been on a strict sleep schedule for 2 months now. 11pm to bed, same time every night, tracking everything. sleep quality is genuinely better. pain didn’t change.

when i’m in an actual flare, the routine means nothing. still waking at 3am with nerve pain down my legs, fibro tenderness right there in the morning. the schedule doesn’t touch it. then it clicked.

sleep isn’t the variable. the flare is. you can’t sleep your way out of central sensitization. weeks when pain’s lower, the good sleep actually helps the next day.

but during a flare it’s just noise. anyone else notice that sleep only matters when you’re not actively flaring?
