so i’m 8 wks into benlysta now and i’ve had some mixed results. labs are moving in the right direction, anti-dsdna is down and c3 is climbing back up. but the second dose left a quarter-sized welt at the injection site. anyone else get this? my rheumatologist said it’s not uncommon but i’m curious about the specifics. how long did it take to resolve? did you have to switch injection sites or take any extra meds to manage it? i’m on thursday injections, btw. friday through sunday are basically gone for me anyway, but i’d like to minimize the extra downtime if possible. fwiw, i’ve been tracking my flares and this benlysta side effect is the only new thing that’s popped up. raynaud’s been acting up too, but that’s a whole other story. imo any tips or similar experiences would be great to hear.
