i’m trying to make sense of my a1c and cortisol trends, especially since perimenopause seems to throw everything off. i got these quarterly blood panels now, which is great but also just confusing when you look at them all together.
im know endocrinologists want the numbers, like ‘are your tsh levels stable between q1 and q3?’ but i’m really trying to see if there’s a pattern that correlates with something actual, like the severity of my night sweats or how bad the flu feels. some quarters are clearly better than others, but even when things feel good, the labs don’t always show it.
i just log every flare + what set it off in careclinic so i can spot the window, and i wonder if seeing a drop in free t3 during my most symptomatic time is normal. has anyone noticed that certain metabolic markers behave really differently depending on the time of year or where they are in their cycle?
