Anyone else get worse flares from day old leftovers?

finally figured out why tuesday leftovers hit different than the fresh batch. made stir-fry on sunday - ate it sunday and monday, no issues. tuesday afternoon i took the same leftovers and within 2 hours i’m flushed and itchy. it’s the histamine buildup.

food sits in the fridge, histamine levels rise. if your DAO enzyme can’t process it fast enough, older food triggers harder. started tossing leftovers after day one and it actually made a real difference. but now i’m wondering if this is universal or if some people can actually handle day 2-3 leftovers.

bc low-histamine diet sounds doable until you realize it basically means cooking fresh every single day, which isn’t realistic working full time. i track what triggers flares and the pattern is consistent: older food = worse reaction. but i want to know if everyone experiences this the same way or if some people are just less sensitive to it. what’s your cutoff?

does anyone else have to pitch theirs?

imo.
