Anjevita not a magic fix

i started anjevita a few mos ago, and tbh it’s been a mixed bag. my joints are better, but the fatigue is still killing me. i’ve been tracking my labs, and my ESR and CRP are stable, but i’m still exhausted most days.

i’m wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with anjevita - like, it’s not a total loss, but it’s not a miracle cure either. i’ve been on it for a few months now, and i’m starting to think that the idea that one med can just fix everything is kinda misleading. has anyone else noticed that their labs can look fine, but they still feel awful?

i’m starting to think that we need to look at more than just the numbers when it comes to treating autoimmune stuff. anyone else have thoughts on this?

what’s “exhausted most days” actually mean for your daily routine? i’ve had plenty of times where my esr was normal but i couldn’t get out of bed, labs don’t tell the whole story.

man, the part about ‘labs can look fine, but they still feel awful’ really resonates. my markers for fibromyalgia are almost always normal even when i’m stuck in a bad flare for days. that’s why

“labs can look fine, but they still feel awful” – that part hits home. my 24h urine test for histamine metabolites told me what i already knew from months of logging symptoms. fwiw the numbers are one thing, but that day-to-day pattern of how you actually feel is what they need to look at.
