I’m wondering if anyone else has been diagnosed with acute cholecystitis and is experiencing persistent abdominal pain around both kidney areas. I’ve also had pain in both shoulders, which initially started with discomfort in my left shoulder, along with a rapid heartbeat and chest pain. This discomfort has since moved to the kidney area and has been constant for six weeks.
After several visits to the ER, I was diagnosed with acute cholecystitis, but the doctors haven’t provided an explanation for the other pains, indicating they aren’t related to the gallbladder. I’ve also had blood and white cells in my urine. I was treated with antibiotics for a possible infection, but there hasn’t been any improvement. The pain can become severe, but occasionally it feels a bit better; however, it never fully goes away.
One doctor suggested it might be muscle pain.
