sent my employer a formal accommodations letter. included my fibro diagnosis and my rheum’s recommendations - nothing crazy, just schedule flexibility around my worst flare windows and fewer full-day standing shifts. response: “you don’t look sick” and that i should “be tougher.” weird position when you’re the PT yourself and they still won’t believe you. they denied it.
