i’m 18 months post-op from my rotator cuff surgery and i’ve been experimenting with different peptides for recovery. bpc 157 has been a game changer for me, esp with tendon and ligament healing. i’ve also been using hgh to help with overall recovery and muscle growth. one thing i’ve noticed is that my sleep has been all over the place since the surgery, but the hgh has actually helped me get more restful sleep. fwiw i’m gonna keep tracking my progress and see how things go. fwiw, i’ve been doing 2x a week injections of bpc 157 and it seems to be working better for me than 3x. anyone else have experience with peptides post op?
rotator cuff recovery sounds like a long haul. when you say “sleep all over the place,” was that mostly about the duration, or more the quality you were tracking?
the ‘game changer’ part with bpc for tendon repair is consistent with what i found post-rotator cuff. i ran bpc at 250mcg twice daily for a month subq near the site, specifically to isolate its effect after my surgeon cleared me. tracking rom before and during showed a clear uptick in progress over the baseline.
sleep getting messed up after something like that makes sense, your body’s trying to heal hard. but for the hgh helping with the ‘all over the place’ sleep you mentioned, what kind of details did you see in your tracking? were you logging specific wake-up times, or how long it took to fall asleep, or just overall quality scores
eighteen months out, that’s a good chunk of time into recovery. The ‘game changer’ part you mentioned for bpc on tendons definitely lines up with what I found after my own rotator cuff repair. I was on 250mcg twice daily for a month, subq right by the repair site, once my surgeon gave
restful sleep, that’s huge
