Strain on the chest

Two weeks ago, I strained my chest while assisting with a boiler. The discomfort worsened over the weekend, leading me to seek medical advice. The doctor diagnosed strained ribs, which can take weeks to heal. During the consultation, high blood pressure was detected, prompting further tests including an ECG and dietary changes. Despite medication adjustments, my blood pressure remained high. Additional tests, including a heart ultrasound, were recommended due to ECG results. Despite maintaining a healthy lifestyle and normal blood pressure readings in recent assessments, I remain concerned about potential heart issues, especially considering the recent strain on my ribs.

Remember to prioritize your well-being by following your doctor’s advice closely. Take it easy and allow your ribs to heal properly. Keep up with your prescribed medication and any recommended lifestyle changes for managing your blood pressure.
