been reading through some research on MS cognitive impairment and it’s weird how much focus is on processing speed and memory but barely mentions actual word-finding / language loss. but that’s what terrifies people, right? the processing-speed stuff you can sort of work around.
losing words mid-sentence? that’s real and invisible. feels like the literature is describing a different disease than what patients are living… anyone else notice that gap?
