Been on compounded tirzepatide 7 months (7.5mg now), had sulfur burps hard for the first 6 weeks, then crickets for a solid month. Now they’re back, worse, and I’m trying to figure out what changed. Dose is the same. Injection day is the same. But Thursday-Friday, I’m clearing rooms. Ginger tea helps a little, slowing down eating helps more, nothing kills it completely. Had me wondering if this is specific to compounded vs. the brand name i tried first. Was on Wegovy for two years - once sulfur burps cleared around week 4, they stayed gone. This cyclic comeback is new. Anyone else on compounded seeing side effects return after they initially settled? Curious if it’s a formulation thing, a dose plateau thing, or just how our specific compound metabolizes. Trying to figure out if I should talk to my pharmacy or if this is just the new normal.
