Six weeks of 3am wakeups, finally found the pattern

19 nights out of the last 30 i’ve been up at exactly 3am, not from a noise or a bad dream, just pain pulling me out of sleep like someone pulled a plug. started logging the exact wake time in june bc it felt too consistent to be random. turns out it’s not the pain itself waking me up, it’s that i roll onto my left side around then and the tender point under my shoulder blade goes off like an alarm.

my sleep tracker shows i hit a lighter sleep stage right around 3, so the timing lines up with sleep architecture, not some mystical pain clock going off. doesn’t fix anything though. i still lie there 40-60 min waiting for it to settle back down to a 4 before i can drift off again, and then i’m wrecked the next day, brain just dissolving by 2pm.

tried a body pillow to stop the rolling, three nights in, too early to call it. anyone else have a wake time that’s almost identical every night? and did changing sleep position actually help or was that $40 wasted
