Should you switch from levo to NDT

actually the thing nobody mentions is it’s not levo vs ndt that matters. it’s whether your endocrinologist is actually listening to how you feel vs just staring at TSH. i was on levo for years, TSH sitting “normal” at 2.1, felt like garbage by afternoon every day. tried splitting my dose - helped a bit but i still hit a wall by 3pm.

then switched to NDT and found a doc who actually checked free T3/T4 instead of just TSH. what changed wasn’t the NDT itself. my free T3 finally climbed to where i needed it. afternoon fatigue just…

stopped. some people feel way better on NDT. some feel the same. the real question: is your doc checking free T3/T4, or just TSH?

are you still wrecked on your current med even if TSH looks “fine”? that’s what matters. not the name on the bottle. how many of you felt way better once someone actually checked beyond TSH?
