genuine question, not a gotcha. trying to figure out what people are actually seeing vs what they’re assuming. when someone says “my script says 10mg but the vial doesn’t match,” that’s two completely different problems getting collapsed into one, and I can’t tell from most threads which one anyone’s actually dealing with. problem one is concentration math. same total drug in the vial, different mg/ml, so the volume you draw changes even though the dose doesn’t. branded pens hide this from you because it’s fixed mg with no dilution to think about. compounded vials don’t. one compounder’s “10mg” is 1ml, another’s is a fraction of that, and if you carry over “I believe 10mg is 1ml” from the last vial you’ll draw the wrong volume and swear the dose changed when the total drug is identical. that’s a units error, not a pharmacy shorting you. problem two is actual delivered potency. the lot is genuinely under or over what the label claims. that’s a real QC failure and a different conversation entirely. the two look the same on the surface (“this isn’t what my script says”) and the fix is opposite. one is recheck your draw math against the new concentration. the other is the lot is bad and you need a different pharmacy. so the actual question: has anyone here had a label/script mismatch and actually resolved which one it was? meaning did the pharmacy hand you a lot-specific potency assay, or did you send a sample out yourself, vs just eyeballing the volume and deciding you got shorted. because “the dose feels weaker” tells you nothing here, side effect intensity tracks ramp and sleep and a dozen other things, not just delivered mg. what I’m really after is whether anyone’s gotten a 503A to produce a COA on the specific lot rather than general claims about their process. that’s the only thing that separates a concentration mixup from a potency problem, and I almost never see it mentioned. fwiw the only way I could even ask this cleanly is that I log drawn volume against prescribed mg in the same row every shot, so a concentration change shows up as a volume change instead of a vibe. the dark-mode chart palette is the dumb reason I actually open the tracker at night to log it. but that just flags the discrepancy, it doesn’t tell you which of the two it is. curious what people have actually confirmed vs guessed.
