PT actually helped, mad it took 3 years to try

been on Ocrevus since 2023 and my EDSS is holding steady, which is what i wanted. but the foot drop got worse over months and i figured that’s just how MS is. you manage meds, you wait for the next MRI, and things change anyway. my PCP basically forced me to PT last year. said “just try it” so i did. six months in and the improvement is real. not a cure or anything, but the foot drop exercises actually rebuilt muscle memory. fwiw spasticity work helped. the heat sensitivity stuff made sense once someone actually explained why summer in Tampa was making it worse. what gets me is my neuro never mentioned this. never said “hey, PT can help while your DMT is doing its job.” i spent 3 years thinking i just had to accept things getting harder. turns out staying in the warehouse walking around all day doesn’t count as good exercise for MS. did PT help you? and if so, why did it take forever for someone to suggest it?
