Perimenopause and Blood Sugar

i’ve been tracking my blood sugar levels and i’m wondering if anyone else has noticed a correlation between perimenopause symptoms and blood sugar swings. i’ve had bloods done and my gp says my levels are fine, but i’m experiencing these wild fluctuations that seem to coincide with my hot flashes and night sweats. i’m on levothyroxine for my thyroid and i’ve been trying to manage my diet, but it’s hard to keep track of what’s causing what.

does anyone else have any experience with this? i feel like i’m going crazy trying to figure out what’s going on with my body. fwiw, i’ve been using a glucose tracker and it’s been really helpful in identifying patterns, but i’d love to hear from others who may be going through similar things.

anyone have any insights or advice?

edit: forgot to add

Are those “wild fluctuations” staying within typical healthy glucose ranges? 🧪 Normal physiological regulation involves constant adjustments, so some day-to-day variability is expected even when your GP says levels are “fine” (which is normal)
