Mil overriding feed schedule

been away for a bit… so my mil keeps coming over and giving layla snacks or bottles when i’ve already fed her, like 30 mins prior. it’s not just that, she also changes the type of milk or the amount and it’s messing with my tracking… i’m trying to figure out layla’s appetite and feeding schedule but it’s hard when someone else is interfering. does anyone else deal with this? how do you handle it when your in-laws or relatives override your feeding schedule?

i’m at 11 months pp and still trying to get into a routine, but this is making it tough. layla’s pediatrician said to stick to a schedule, but my mil thinks she knows better. what’s your experience with this?

niall’s been crawling everywhere and i’m still figuring out this mom thing. “my mil thinks she knows better” is a phrase that stands out to me bc i’ve had similar issues with my own family members overstepping. however, i’ve found that having a solid log of niall’s feedings and schedule has helped me communicate more effectively w/ them, and being able to export that data as a csv for my pediatrician has been really helpful in getting everyone on the same page.
