Hypothyroidism and peptides

i’ve been reading about sermorelin and hypothyroidism. apparently it can be ineffective if you have hypothyroidism.

has anyone with congenital hypothyroidism tried peptides like sermorelin or semaglutide? i’m curious about the interaction between thyroid meds and peptides.

my own experience with ozempic has been positive for joint pain, but i don’t have hypothyroidism. wondering if anyone has insights on this

delayed gastric emptying can impact absorption of thyroid meds 💉

low t3 is a thing for me too, “ineffective if you have hypothyroidism” is what i’m trying to wrap my head around w/ semaglutide

understanding “ineffective if you have hypothyroidism” becomes a baseline problem for me immediately. you’re trying to figure out if the peptide isn’t working, or if the thyroid issues are just masking any effect. that’s honestly

Fresh from my own struggles with tirzepatide, I’m skeptical about the blanket statement that sermorelin is “ineffective if you have hypothyroidism” as you mentioned. When you say “apparently it can be ineffective if you have hypothyroidism”, I wonder if we’re looking at a more nuanced situation, like how thyroid meds interact with peptides, which I touched on in my recent post about hypothyroidism and peptides.
