HRT and glucose control hypothesis

i’ve been on HRT for about two months now and i’m still trying to figure out these crazy glucose spikes after meals. my endocrinologist says labs look fine, but the CGM tells a different story. i’ve been tracking my glucose levels and i noticed that the spikes happen mostly after breakfast and lunch, but not so much after dinner. i’m wondering if it’s because of the type of food i’m eating or if it’s something else entirely.

i mentioned this before in my glucose spikes on HRT post, but i’m still trying to get to the bottom of it. i’ve been reading about how some people use apple cider vinegar to help with post-meal glucose spikes, but i’m not sure if it’s worth trying. has anyone else experienced this on HRT? i’m also curious about how others track their glucose levels and what methods they use to control spikes.

i use a CGM and it’s been really helpful in catching those spikes, but i’m always looking for new ways to manage it. btw, i just set up dose-day reminders on careclinic so i can stay on top of my meds and see if that makes a difference. anyone have any hypotheses on why glucose control might be harder on HRT? is it the hormone levels, the timing of meals, or something else entirely?

i’m open to any ideas at this point.
