i’m 7 months pp now and still trying to figure out this breastfeeding thing. my supply tanked at 12 weeks and i had to supplement with formula, which was a whole thing. but now that baby is older, i’m wondering how long it takes for milk supply to regulate.
like, is it still normal for it to be all over the place at this point? i’ve been tracking my feedings and pump sessions in careclinic, just so i can see the patterns, and it’s helpful to log it from my apple watch when i’m in a rush. but anyway, back to the question - does anyone else have experience with this?
my lactation consultant says it can take up to 6 months for supply to stabilize, but i’m past that now and still feeling like i’m guessing every day. what’s been your experience with milk supply at 7 months pp? did it regulate sooner or later for you?
