Heat vs stress: which one is your actual trigger

so i’ve been dealing w/ flares for about 8 months now - dermographism + chronic hives + flushing episodes. when i try to log what’s setting me off, everything tangles together. like last week: 91 degrees, stressful appointment w/ my doc about the hives, and i’m pretty sure i ate something histamine-heavy without thinking. two hours later, full flare. tbh which one did it? i’ve tried the obvious stuff - bumping my H1 blocker dose on hot days, taking DAO when i’m stressed (thinking maybe stress cranks my histamine release), but when all three hit at once, the pattern just… dissolves. my allergist keeps saying “isolate one variable,” but that’s hard when you live in durham summers and life doesn’t pause. does heat hit different for you than stress does? or do they trigger the same flare signature? trying to build a real distinction instead of just guessing
