been tracking sleep obsessively since may - bed by 10, dark room, no phone after 9, consistency every night. on paper it looks perfect. sleep app says 7.5-8.5 hours, rhr dropping to 56 during sleep, no fragmentation. i know that’s supposedly good.
but the flares don’t follow it. i’ll have a solid week of that kind of sleep and still hit a pain day at 6/10. or i’ll sleep like shit - four hours, fragmented - and pain stays at baseline 4. the crash at noon happens anyway.
spoons run out by 1pm regardless. my rheum said “sleep is foundational” so i optimized the hell out of it. pharmacy tech brain wanted to fix this variable. but it’s like sleep is just…
one piece? not the piece i thought it was. does anyone else track sleep perfectly and still feel wrecked? wondering if i’m missing what actually moves the needle on flare days.
