so i’m trying to figure out how to keep my meds from getting messed up in the summer heat, anyone else with ckd have to deal with this? my eGFR is mid 50s and i’m on a bunch of different meds, including some that are supposed to be kept cool.
i’ve been using a cooler bag to carry them around but i’m not sure if that’s enough. does anyone have any tips for keeping their meds stable in the summer?
i’ve heard of people using insulated bags or even refrigerated containers, but i’m not sure what’s worth it. fwiw, i’ve been tracking my potassium levels and they’ve been pretty stable, but i’m still worried about the heat affecting my other meds.
