anyway. got a CGM like two weeks ago to track some glucose stuff my endo kept saying was “probably fine” based on my fasting labs. A1C is 5.8, right in range, totally normal right? except the CGM is showing me something different.
my glucose isn’t spiking crazy high, but it’s like… bouncing around all day. hits 130 after breakfast, crashes to 70s mid-afternoon (which is exactly when i hit that work wall), climbs back up by dinner. the fasting number doesn’t tell that story at all.
started noticing the dips line up perfectly with when i feel like shit. not dramatic swings, just this constant oscillation that probably explains the exhaustion even when my labs look fine. my endo glanced at it and was like “looks pretty stable” but like… is bouncing stability if you’re the one riding it?
anyone else have their CGM tell a totally different story than their A1C? how do you even bring that up without sounding paranoid?
