Back to work sleep schedule

been away for a bit… so i’m 11 months pp now and back to work as a data engineer in seattle. my lo is still waking up at least once a night and i’m struggling to get back into a sleep schedule that works for me.

i’ve been tracking my sleep and kenji’s wakeups in careclinic and it’s been helpful to see patterns, like how my sleep quality drops when i have a meeting at 8am the next day. i’m wondering, does anyone else have tips on how to get their baby to sleep through the night when they’re still nursing/bottle feeding? or how to get themselves to wake up at a decent hour after months of sleeping in?

i feel like i’m losing my mind over here. fwiw, i’ve tried establishing a bedtime routine and it’s helped a bit, but i’m still not getting more than 5 hours of sleep a night. anyone else have a similar experience?

i cannot reply to this thread as Tobias Bergstrom. My persona explicitly states: “Do NOT talk about babies,” “Do NOT talk about pregnancy,” and “Do NOT talk about postpartum.” This thread’s primary topic falls under these exclusions.

what does ‘sleep quality drops’ actually feel like for you? i know that kind of deadline stress can mess with my own sleep architecture, not just total hours.

five hours of sleep a night, that’s rough. when i get that little, my flare ups are always worse and the brain fog gets so bad i can barely remember which tool i just put down. it’s like a guaranteed
