5 months on topiramate

so i’m 5 months into topiramate 50mg now and i’ve seen my migraine days drop from 15-18 to 8-10. that’s huge for me. but the cognitive side effects are still a thing.

i’ve been tracking my attacks and i think i’ve found a pattern - screen time and stress are definitely correlated with my migraines. like i mentioned before, i was surprised by how much my actual migraine frequency differed from what i thought it was. logging has been a game changer for me.

anyone else notice a link between screen time and migraines?

cognitive side effects still bothering you at 50mg is what catches my eye, did you try titrating down to see if that alleviates some of the cognitive fog you’re experiencing, or is that something your doc has already advised against 📊

that drop from 18 to 10 migraine days is a definite win, but “cognitive side effects are still a thing” really resonates with me. the brain fog from ms can feel similar sometimes, like words are
